Don’t you think designing is like creating a solution for a problem? If you have this approach as a designer, the one skill you must have is optimism. To be a UX designer you need to be optimistic about coming up with new solutions to a problem. I believe that the huge challenge is to have faith that it’s possible. And the greater the challenge, the more essential optimism is to drive you forwards.

User-centered design is a positive approach to invent new solutions. When you understand the people you are trying to reach, and then design from their perspective, you come up with unique and exclusive answers. It involves deeply understanding the people who you are looking to serve, dreaming up scores of ideas, and creating innovative new solutions rooted in people’s actual needs.

HOW USER-CENTERED APPROACH BENEFITS DESIGN

· User-Centered Design is about empathy. It requires you to pay attention to people, and put yourself in their shoes. Design as discussed is a solution to the problems and what is the better way to create an answer than understanding the issue? Therefore, having a user-oriented approach helps the designer to try to feel their users.

· The characteristic of this approach is iterative that is when you test, fail, and try again. This process develops an understanding of the user’s needs through a combination of research, interviews, generative methods, and tools like brainstorming. Feedback is a very necessary element of this approach and we know how essential feedback is to ensure the ultimate user experience.

· User-centered design influences the ultimate success of the product release. It is used to bring the user back into the heart of their product. It ensures comfort for the users. When the customers are happy and satisfied business achieves success. Well, it feels it has rightly said, make your customer's experience worth your business.

· With the user-centered design, you probably have to be comfortable with the idea of failure and but you must celebrate the learning which it brings. You try something out, maybe pushing too far, or you want to learn from an experiment. But don’t you think in some ways, the learning that came from that unexpected failure was more valuable than the success might have been?

With user-centered design even in case of failure, you can continue to prototype and improve your UX. With the user-centered design, you will not have unnecessary redraft or even worse a big disappointment right at the end. Because it identifies problems before they emerge and offers you a way out.

WRAP UP

Being a user-centered designer is about having confidence in that as long as you stay in the knowledge of what you’ve learned from research, you can arrive at unique solutions that the world needs. The value system of user-centered design contains empathy, optimism, iteration, creative confidence, belief in making, embracing ambiguity, and learning from failure.
